Building Trust Through Quality Craftsmanship and Transparent Service

Trusted home improvement and roofing experts, Bauer Roofing and Construction, we understand that your home is more than just a structure—it’s your castle. With deep roots in craftsmanship and a commitment to lasting relationships, we’ve built our business on the belief that every roof we install does more than protect your home—it secures the heart of your life.

A Legacy of Integrity and Craftsmanship

My father taught me to build with care, and most importantly, build trust.

Nathan Brann grew up immersed in the values his father instilled: build with care, and most importantly, build trust. Watching his father construct more than just homes, Nathan learned the vital lesson that long-lasting craftsmanship is the foundation of any successful project.

With these early lessons, Nathan brought his expertise to USAA, where he deepened his understanding of precision, legal compliance, and customer care. These values shaped Bauer Roofing and Construction into the company it is today—one that combines time-tested craftsmanship with the rigorous standards of modern construction.

Why Bauer? What Sets Us Apart?

At Bauer, we don’t just install roofs; we protect what matters most. Our approach isn’t just about fixing problems—it's about preventing them. Here’s why Bauer is different:

Built on Values, Committed to the Community

As a family-founded business with local ties to Denton, Flower Mound, and the surrounding communities, Bauer believes in building trust through action. Our commitment to transparency and ethical practices means you always know what to expect, with no hidden costs or unnecessary upsells. We believe in doing the right thing—not just because it's good business, but because it's what you deserve.
Our mission is to be the most trusted home improvement and roofing experts by prioritizing quality, transparency, and long-term customer relationships.
What happens if it rains during my roof installation?
We stand by our work, and if during that process rainwater enters your home, we will correct it. We do everything we can to ensure a dry roofing experience, but we all know that Texas weather can be VERY temperamental.
Can I upgrade to a better roof?
Absolutely! We try to recommend at least two upgrades on every job. Depending on what shingle you have, you may have the option of getting a better material. We also recommend upgrading your underlayment to a synthetic material. We have options for upgrading your roofing components like vents, jacks, and ice and water shields. There are even some upgrades that can lower your insurance premium!
How do I know if I need a new roof?
There are many factors to consider. If it has hailed recently, is there adequate damage to all slopes on your roof? For wind, are you missing only a few shingles, or half of your roof? Is your roof old? All of these can determine needing a new roof. Our trained Project Managers can identify damage and give you their best advice to move forward. We take pride in making sure we don’t advise homeowners to file claims unless there is legitimate damage.
Should I have Bauer meet with my adjuster?
Yes and yes! The adjuster meeting is very critical. We like to be there to verify the scope of work. If something is missed on your claim, or the scope of work is confused, we must bring the adjuster back out to the house for a reinspection. We don’t like to waste anyone’s time. Let us get it done right the first time and cut down the time it takes to close your job.
Will Bauer warranty their work?
Absolutely! We warranty our craftsmanship for the life of the roof. If anything comes up, we will inspect your roof for free, and give out advice on how to proceed. Our shingle manufacturers also warranty their products. We've got you covered!
If I file a claim, will my insurance premium increase?
No, this doesn’t mean your premium won't increase, they just won't increase because of your specific claim. Premiums are regional. If a lot of claims are filed in your area, premiums can be increased.
Door knockers, should I trust them?
Door knocking is a big lead generator in this market. Just because someone has solicited you, doesn’t mean they aren’t trustworthy. Most companies are honest. But let them prove it to you. Ask them for their driver's license. Ask them about the company they work for. Ask them for references and look them up online. Don’t sign a contract right away, make them work a little for it. Out-of-state roofers or “Storm Chasers” will do a job fast, but if anything is wrong in the future, a local company will have to fix it. Try to stay local.
Do I have to repair everything that the insurance company pays for?
Legally, no. But there is a catch. If you do not make all the repairs that the insurance company pays for, they can deny coverage in the future. Meaning, they will pay for your gutters twice. The insurance company will also hold depreciation of items not repaired if they are made aware that it hasn’t been completed.
How long is the process from start to finish?
Typically, the construction portion will only be a few days. The insurance claim process can be weeks, sometimes months. After your initial adjustment, your insurance company will cut you a first check. This can take up to two weeks to arrive. Sometimes it will also have your mortgage company on the check and require their endorsement. After completion of your project, the insurance company will send the second check. Again, possibly a two-week wait. Many possibilities can arise, so it is hard to make a solid promise on time.
Do I need to do anything special on the date of installation?
We ask that all homeowners try to park away from the house so that our installers can easily access the property. Otherwise, it is business as usual for you. If the noise is something you don’t prefer, you can always plan for a day away from the house.
